Shultz Hall Media Center

The Department of Comunication's Media Center in Shultz Hall is home to the equipment office for production courses, a classroom equipped with video projection and surround sound, a 3-camera television studio with green screen, and private editing suites for student use.

Each editing suite features:

• Apple Power Mac G5 tower computer
• Apple 23" flatscreen displays
• Final Cut Studio 2
• MiniDV deck
• Sony CRT studio monitor

 

Production Equipment

Students enrolled in Production courses through the Department of Communication gain access to professional and "prosumer" camera and editing equipment.

This equipment includes:

• 3-chip Sony, Panasonic, and Canon SD and HD camcorders
• Sennheiser and AudioTechnica microphones
• Arri and Lowel light kits.
